Hi there! My name is Lauren and I'm the Founder and CEO of LaurenAlysonFit, LLC based in Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, part-time law student, Army Reservist, equestrian, and meat-free athlete! While fitness is the major focus of my life today, this wasn't always the case. As a Sophomore at Purdue University, I decided I wanted to join the military through an officer candidate program. However, I was woefully unprepared when it came to physical fitness. I struggled with running, push-ups, you name it. But I refused to quit. I went to every remedial training the program hosted, I tried to run every day, and I worked with my peers in the gym to increase my fitness. My work ethic eventually paid off, though not without some set-backs. I completed some of my officer training, but continued to experience an overtraining injury that limited my continuance in the program. Still, I refused to give up on my goal of serving in the military. After graduating from Purdue I enlisted in the Army Reserves and I've been a Reservist ever since! I also made it my mission to instill a passion for physical fitness in my Army peers and leadership alike! Whether you are a servicemember, veteran, or civilian I understand what it's like to start from scratch with fitness! Wherever you are in your journey you can trust my expertise to guide you to success!

Navigating physical fitness in the military can be challenging. Sometimes, just doing PT is not enough and without structure when we leave the military, sometimes we can fall off the wagon. My online programs will provide you with the tools that you need to gain confidence in your performance, reduce your risk of injury, and succeed with your fitness goals!
These programs are ideal for:
- Current service members who need help passing their respective physical fitness test
- Current service members who want to increase their existing fitness (i.e., run faster, learn the principles of weight lifting, return to a high level of performance after experiencing an injury, etc.)
- Former service members who have lost physical fitness or want to change their lifestyle to become more active
- Military service applicants (enlisted or officer) who need assistance preparing for officer candidate school, boot camp, etc.

Through in-person training, I offer programming tailored to your specific fitness goals. Personal training can be conducted at your residence (fitness equipment may not be required) or at commercial gym facilities where applicable.
